RELATIONSHIPS

Relationships are tricky, confusing, and if we are lucky enough – easy. There are relationships we are born with: our parents, siblings, and family in general. Then we have our friends, coworkers, and neighbors; each relationship is unique and different.

We belong to God, and we should celebrate this relationship, because who are we that He loves us?.… that He couldlove us? Just that thought is simply overwhelming! But God doeslove us, and without exception. We are His!

“I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born”(Jeremiah1:5a HCSB).

Rejection used to be a big part of my life, and maybe you can relate. It can lead you down paths which are harmful and have regretful, irreversible consequences.

Yet, He has called us, He knows us, even before we chose to have that relationship with Him. He forgives us and restores us in order for us to have a relationship with Him.

“He said to him, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself’”(Matthew 22:37-39 HCSB).

I believe God desires us to know Him as deeply as He already knows us!
