The celebration of a birthday is something we can all relate to. It’s an annual event! I’ll be celebrating mine this month. Without divulging the actual number, let’s just say it’s a birthday that is considered to be a milestone.

For me birthdays are always something I look forward to. I’m grateful that I get to have another one! Others let them slide by unnoticed. And still others sometimes figure at a certain point in their lives they consciously do not want to even celebrate their birthdays any more.

I was thinking about that the other day. As we walk with God, I have to remember that no matter what goes in my life, that each day is a gift. Each day is an opportunity to remember that I belong to Him. It’s awesome that God gives us another year to continue our journey with Him.

I don’t know where He will bring us, but I do know He walks with us. Enjoy this journey. Thank You, God, that you are with us every day, every month and every revolution around the sun. Always!
