I was thinking today… about feeling stuck. Have you ever felt like you are in a rut? Stuck in the same old routine, not moving forward? We can’t expect a different result if we keep doing the same thing. Is there an idea you have but you put it aside?
I think most people who do what they feel called to do are so focused on that one thing that they do succeed. Determination, boldness, persistence, confidence – these are just some of the attributes that go a long way to moving forward in your life.
If you are feeling stuck and your relationship with God feels stale, maybe you need to ask God to give you a swift kick in the behind to get you moving! Ha! We cannot allow our lives to fall short of what God calls us to do. Our time here is short – don’t waste it – take a chance!
I understand the logical side of things, yes you need money and have responsibilities etc. but you also have a responsibility to God. You can make it work. Trust God to be with you and help you. Maybe God needs you to feel so uncomfortable and stuck in order to get you to push through and move forward and be pro-active. Honestly, I am writing this to myself as well. What do you want to do for God? What is He calling you to do? Now ask for that kick to get you unstuck and moving!
(Psalm 28:7) The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with song I praise him.
(Hebrews 12:1-2) Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
To God be the Glory,
